There was a post about this reg on the old zone when it came up for sale, pretty sure he's a zoner too. I know Mark had got E30 OK.

who cares! a number plate is a number plate, be proud of your H,G,F,E plates! Waste of money, they don't make the car go faster so it's a waste!
Did u really look twice or are u saying it for effect Malco? just like in the films eh?

My registration fuels my vanity
E30 BMW was sold at the DVLA auction 18-24 months back, went for Ԛ£2700 from memory. E30 EVO sold at roughly the same time too...
Then there is the chap with E30 BM (E3 0BM) who has tried to sell the plate to anyone and everyone with a BMW, originally he wanted Ԛ£7K for it!!!! then Ԛ£5k, then Ԛ£2k as far as i know it's never been sold.
My plate, well i was feeling flush one day and bought it off DVLA when the E plates first came available, is it worth he money, hell no!!! but i like it.
You can only specify E1-20, hence why you have to *borrow* a O from the last 3 characters, illegal, but who cares. Never been pulled, even passed a MOT like it!

this is a bit of an unfair commentSimon13 wrote:who cares! a number plate is a number plate, be proud of your H,G,F,E plates! Waste of money, they don't make the car go faster so it's a waste!

does changing your wheels make your car go faster......no
does spraying your wheels or lights make your car go faster......no
does putting a tech 2 kit on your car make it go faster......no
does upgrading your steering wheel etc etc you get my drift
a lot of things that people do to their cars doesnt make their car go
faster including yourself.
a private plate just personalises the car to yourself to make it that extra
bit yours instead of having the same old thing as everyone else...
bbs this, alpina that, m-tech 2 this. so you can have the same as everyone else and have a private plate and as malc said it does make your
car stand out from the crowd
thats my opinion anyway
