Hi guys,
Have had my car dropped by 60mm all round (springs and shocks ) for a while now, and after a few other mods here and there that should make my car handle pretty sweet, I feel/know/beed told loads of times that my cars handling is suffering from the tiny amount of compression within the springs.
I have a set of springs that will lower the car by only 40mm (bought before I thought fcuk it and go LOW) Although I've been resisting the raise coz I love the low rider look, even tho its so impractical!
But think to really start enjoying my car, this is gonna have to be sorted out. Would you guys recommend just replacing the rear springs (40mm drop on back with 60mm drop on front) as a comprimise, or just go for a 40mm drop all round as opposed to the 60mm?
Will the handling be that much better if I replace all the springs as opposed to just the rears?
Cheers!

Cheers mate!!
Just got the Bilstein Streetline Kit, using Pi 60mm springs, the 40mm springs are the ones that originally came with the kit.
Although I'll have to change the setup completely in a few months time, as I'm lookin to go for a 325i conversion to replace my tired 318i engine. Even then I'm still gonna want it low but not lose the handling.

Put the 40mm springs on at the back and you might just like it. 60/40 works very on E30's especially the 6Cyl cars.
PI springs are very very soft, you really ought to use soemthing a little stiffer wit the brilliant shocks you have.

Thanks M5Pilot, although just been speakin to a mate and I think I'm gonna buy his old H+R springs at some point and generally ready everything for the 325i conversion, so I'll probably only drop it by 35mm in that case, so in the mean time might carry on cruisin low rider styleeee.
