i take it you got these from spencer latham? he does a fair bit in carbon on facebook.
looks really good, just wish i could find a carbon tech 1 spoiler

if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

The seller has missed a massive detail with these.............anyone fitting carbon panels to an M3 (or any E30) wants oversized wings, why would you invest money in stock sized carbon panels?
One point to add, I would not use these on a car which doesn't have a very sophisticated cage to keep the monocoque strength especially when removing key metal components.

Oversize front wings Andrew or rears as well?
I ask as I am dreaming about a full metal M3 body conversion for a track slag but carbon does sound enticing.

Yes both front and rear are all available with an additional width on the arches
Its the way I would be going and certainly what many are doing when their car gets to this stage of requirement.

fair enough, are they higher as well? was speaking with Pete and he said evo arches would make wheels look tiny?

Yes they are exactly like the SE arches as many run 17"/18"/19" wheels.
I think >18" is too much for the e30.

I have 20mm wider front carbon wings already. The front inner arches have also been raised 20mm like the DTM cars. This is quite handy as you put a decent size width on the front and have the car very low without any rubbing even on lock - this is with 18" rims.
there is less need for going wider at the rear, well in my case anyway, as I run a Z3m rear axle and given the damper position can go 10" rim without too much trouble.
I've also seen some offerings of wider flares and it just doesn't look right - but that's personal preference.

All carbon bits will be left unpainted - be a shame to hide the craftsmanship and being a black car it won't look out of place - would be nice if the whole exterior is in carbon - but first thing first is to get the car up and running.

Youre right but in my case the rear track is already increased with the help of z3m rear axle and rolled arches. The 20mm wider flares at the front really just help with use of larger wheels (I will be running 18s) and ensuring less rubbing issues. In any case will find out how it handles once its up and running. Previous owner was fairly particular about handling and ran this setup - I wasnt proposing on changing it unless I get it on the road and it isnt to my liking.
