power steering fluid still dripping from the larger banjo bolt going into the pump. new bolt and new copper crush washers. its dripping enough to be noticeable ie a drip every 10 seconds or so.

Not coming from under the reservoir and leaking down the pipe is it?

Use new copper washers and nip to 40nm

Worked on mine and still no puddles months on

Mine has too many rusty holes for the road at the mo!

When its back from the dead it should look like a 318IS!

Untill then I'm in a dull Denzel people carrier.... The shame of it!

its leakin from the outside washer. definitely not down the pipe.

I've had the same little dribble from mine, and heard that it's important to match the steering pump to the rack due to the pressures. I've got an E34 pump and E46 rack, which may be part of the issue.

Besides that, you could try getting some Dowty washers and see if that'll work.

how many new copper washers did u use slideout. ive used 4 so far. same drip. ive got got bolt, washer,banjo,washer,pump. its all original on mine. i'll try alloy washers next.

Copper is fine. I used one on each side of the banjo bolt, torqued up to 40nm
Dowty seals would be next if it still persists...

got the dowty washers. put them on, tightened up, no leak. job done. thanks for the help people :D
