Hi everybody, was after a little help regarding a stainless steel exhaust I have just bought. I have fitted a stainless steel manifold and also have a back box and 2 pipes that are attached to each other. The person I ordered them from said this would be all I need but it seems way too short and doesn't have the same fitment or same angle to the manifold. Looks to me like its missing a centre section or something but I can't seem to find one anywhere.
Thank you, I appreciate any help

There are two systems for a 325i, a 2 or 3 piece system. Aftermarket manifolds generally only fit to a 3 piece system.
If you could get some pics of what you have, someone on here will be able to help.

That's the manifold I bought, it was a real pain to fit but I don't know whether that's just how they are or because it was aftermarket.

I can't see the pics properly on my phone, but it does seem you are missing a mid section that joins to the pipes from the manifold.
Have you got a link for where you bought the exhaust backbox?

In the description it says...
Please note the centre pipes on this item will require modification to fit.
I can't see the angle of the pipes well enough, but at a guess you'll need a 3 piece centre box to mate up to the manifold pipes and then a bit of work to mate the rear section up to the centre.
Hopefully someone who can see the pics better will be able to advise better, but there's a pic of a 3 piece system in the link below that might help explain a bit

you won't find one of the shelf, its best you drop the car of to a exhaust company who makes custom ones.

I was hoping to avoid that because I got a quote of £400.
