Hi all.. I'm looking to strip the chrome trim for the horseshoe guttering for my cabby as Bmw are no longer making these! The rest of my car is now shaddowline so I have bought some hydrochloric acid and had it in this for 2 days and the chrome hasn't budged!! I'm begining to realise maybe it's not chrome?? Is it anodised ali maybe?! Either way I would love to know if it's chrome and love to know a way I can spray it as not sure the paint will bond as is... ANY help will be massively appreciated... Thanks Justin

You just need to scotch it and have it powdercoated
