So I had my E30 fully resprayed in diamondback about a year and half ago. And I still haven't had chance to seal the paintwork.
What you recommend to help seal and protect the paint?
Thanks in advance

I'm still a fan of HD wax
It's off the shelf
It's a fair price
It's easy to use
It gives good gloss
It's durable

Yep, SRP Cleans polishes and marks fine swirls and it's a good / perfect base for the HD wax
It may be worth going over the panels with clay in certain areas.
Poor boys black hole is also worth looking at and using in place of SRP

IMHO I don't think it will need clay its hasn't even seen the road, only been sat in a warm garage gathering dust.Kos wrote:Yep, SRP Cleans polishes and marks fine swirls and it's a good / perfect base for the HD wax

Also the bodyshop that resprayed my car are recommending Supaguard, whats your views on this?

I use everything from low end waxes to top end crystal glass sealants
How good they are depends on the the application and the maintenance of them.
For maximum protection and durability one of the latest sealants from car pro or g technique with out perform super gaurd however application is tricky and best left to a professional

I completely agree, I used to use the HD wax and it's great stuff.Gavla wrote:I use Bilt Hamber products on my Diamond Schwartz cabby. Nothing better IMHO...
However, since using Bilt Hamber wax I wouldn't go back. Apart from the fact of how long it lasts, it's far easier to use.
