Tow bar fitting

Hi I have brought a second hand tow bar and would like to fit it to my e30 (it came off and e30), it seems as though it only fits to the spare wheel well does anybody else have a towbar fitted like this , if so could they let me know how it is fitted some pics would be really useful, thanks in advance.

Thanks that would be great, my tow bar looks as though it has two fixings that go on the spare wheel well, and a fixing behind the bumper, is this the same as yours?

Thanks those pics are really helpfull, Just one more question I promise !, Ihave noticed that there is a double skin behind the bumper do the bolts for the towbar go through both with a spacer in the middle or do they just go through the outside one many thanks.

Mine goes through the double skin with a piece of bar along the inside to strengthen the bolt holes, 4 bolts in all but it still looks like it would pull the back off the car if you pulled away too quick.

That's a Towsure towbar. I tow a 1000Kg caravan 2000miles around Europe every year for three weeks, usually at highly illegal speeds with one of those. You won't pull the back off the car!
