Morning all,

Sorry if this is a silly question, but have had my 318is in my brothers garage for some work and have mislaid my Air Flow Meter/Air Box...

My brother has sourced one from a 318i auto...

Is this no good?

Thanks in advance...

Nick.

There were a number of different versions of AFM produced for both cars during their production runs, but all were used on both models.
A more important point is whether the replacement one has a pot. for adjustment of CO. Later versions of the AFM, when cats. were compulsory, omitted this adjuster.

How can I tell, where is this pot?
And I need one with this adjuster on it?

Adjuster is just to the right of the electrical plug to the AFM. You will need this adjuster if the car does not have a lambda sensor in the exhaust.
