starting issue

my 318 whether hot or cold turns over for 5-7 seconds before it starts a bit annoying at times anyone have any idea to what it could be thanks.

Lack of residual fuel pressure? Buy a £10 ebay fuel pressure gauge and 6" of hose, connect it up and check.
