Well im needing some new rubber on the car.

I did a little search on here and it looks like the size im looking for is 195/65/14 but the only tyres in that size on www.mytyres.co.uk are

Potenza RE 88
Continental Premium Contact
Toyo PROXES CF 1
Hankook OPTIMO K406
Kumho KH15
Semperit SPEED-COMFORT

So thats my selection, am i looking at the wrong size tyres??? Theres no Bridgestone Potenza RE 720, Eagle F1 or Pirrelli P6000

Are the Toyo Proxes CF 1 the same as the Proxes T1-R??

Thanks

Oh the car is a 325i SE 88

you wont find many high performance tyres in that size to be honest.

just go for a decent branded set

Go to http://www.blackcircles.com they have Pirelli P6000 in the size you want. Ԛ£56.75 each mail order but there is a fitting choice too.

the toyo sounds like one of their normal road tyres, not a high performance model. Still should be a good set of boots?

shame you dont have 15" alloys, as i have a pair of 225/50/15 Falkens that i am selling. the term "grip" would be an understatement!!!!!!

So what can i do then to get sticky rubber? is there anything for standard 14" alloys that will fit?

I can get Bridgstone Potenza RE 720 they score 2.0 on TyreTest.com
Or Goodyear EAGLE VENTURA score 1.9

what do you think?

You can get 205/60r14 Falkens from eurocar parts the extra width looks pretty cool and 14" I had them on my old bottle tops the grip was very good.
Flakens and other soft tyres really do wear out pretty quick though...
