Obc issue

My obc display was not working ie no illumination,so i replaced the light board on the back of the unit ,now it light up when I turn the ignition on ,and then when I switch the lights on it goes off ,any ideas would be gratefully received.

It is meant to go dimmer when the lights are on.

What lamps did you use for the replacements? If you used LEDs they might not work on the dimmed setting.

Hi , the lamps I used where from Maplins and I used the spec that I found on the technical search facility (they are not led).
