i just bought an 86 325i, went to fill her up and the cap wont unlock!! any help appreciated!

not that i can see, where exactly should i be looking? should i pull the carpet off?

bit of wd40 and shimmy it around, alternatively try breaking it off, or call the seller and get him to show you, if that fails remove the sender unit in the tank and fill it through there, if all else fails to get you moving...

should be able to use the screwdriver in the tookit and something to hit it with to spin the sender and release it from the tank,

it needed a lot of wiggling!, but it came off in the end!! cheers guys
