Hey,
so I am about to do e30 m52b28 swap. What do I have to declare? Just say engine is more powerful? Do they care if gear box remains auto (as in I am not gonna race the car)? What about silly bits like radiator? Or vicious fan removal? Or non stock bolts even? Different brake booster? Car smell tree thingy hanging on the rear view mirror? Or how I dress when I drive it? Rant end/

So basicly what is important to declare? Or I should declare all small things just in case I do need to make a claim?

Thank you :)

In theory, ANY departure from the spec. the car left the dealership with has to be declared to your insurers, but in this case 'engine conversion' and change from auto to manual, or vice versa, should cover everything. The associated bits like radiator and servo are all included under this umbrella term.
If the car is one of BMW's lesser specced models, such as the smaller engined saloons, upgrading the brakes and suspension to that found on most other models should probably be mentioned as well.

Flux's have a modified vehicle report form to fill in where you summarise any modifications by area (I.e. engine, suspension, chassis, brakes etc). For engine swaps you need to state what engine, subsequent increase in horsepower and engine no.
