Hi Guys,

hope you can help.

I've had the car at the garage to get some work done on rear subframe bushes, anti roll bushes, diff seals, propshaft coupling and bearing.

a week after having the car back I've noticed oil on the driveway, just a drop...took the car back and had a oil change (and filter). after afew days the oil drops were seen again

I've taken a few pictures this morning, could this be my sump seal?

Ahhhhh..... soon as I saw garage work I formed a theory you may not like :( It "could" be the case the jacked the car on the sump, which would crush (I made the mistake of mine) the gasket and hence the leak. Don't know how you would approach this as you don;t know for sure..... :( Thought it was worth mentioning.

First thing I would do is clean off the oil and check where it reappears from.

Most likely the oil pressure sensor and the back of the rocker cover looking at the runs.

I'd be paying close attention to the cap on the oil thermostat, underneath the filter housing. A known weak point that fails because of a poorly specified seal.

That's the one. Article is slightly misleading in that it suggests it's just an age related failure, whereas the problem is with the original O ring being the wrong shape and of the wrong material. That's why you get a kit with a new cap included, instead of just a replacement O ring.
