Hi all.

Having issues with my 88 316 (carbed). The tach, mpg and temp gauges aren't working. After plenty of searching etc I am fairly sure this points to the SI batteries needing replacement.

Found a few guides on the net for clock removal, got them out this morning and there was no wire connected to the big yellow plug in the back of the clocks, only the white and blue on either side were plugged in. I can't see any sign of the missing plug either.

Just wondered if this were my cause of problems rather than the batteries?

If anybody could put my mind at rest that'd be great, thank you all!

May be easier to seek out a s/h cluster to rob decent boards from?
