New M52B28 Build going into limp mode

Had this issue since the engine swap, but haven't really used the car yet so not diagnosed it properly. Have done plenty of searching, and have come up with a few conclusions.

The car seems to rev fine until it is put under load, then seems to start spluttering at higher revs (don't know the exact rev range as rev counter not working yet after engine swap). I've read that it is going into limp mode. The engine was bought as a package (came out of Ants car from Barry island), so has a Danthe wiring loom and the ECU has the EWS delete and the higher rev limit I believe. Thing is I'm sure the E30 it came out of had ABS, so not sure if this is causing me an issue as my POV spec 316 does not.

I also read about the lambda sensors being the wrong way round. Swapped them round, and get the same results.

There are many reasons why it would go into 'limp mode', and the first thing to do is ask it why. It has sophisticated ODB, so get it hooked up and find out what it says.

You will need to have the faults read, otherwise you will need to link the wire from tacho to abs at the plug, so it gets a signal
