I'll take them when the car actually gets out in to open. But the front valance is very clean, rear valance is spotless, and the sills are very solid Dan.

All these months I thought
was like a yuck. With all the greenish stuff coming out. On closer inspection, it's blue
And always used to wonder as things were looking fine to me wherever it was being used.
Learn every day.

If we're honest, it's clean with low mileage, but it's pretty basic. Mod it and be done.

Rav is of the age where a 90 bhp paedo spec turd suits him
PS I heard through the bush telegraph that he paid (waiting for pics) seven hundred and eighty six pounds or there abouts

Thanks Rob, and Rog.
Foook modding it, you already have two molested turdz. Get it fully paedoed and fronted for £4997.86
Profit is much more reasonable than molestation !

Hey Rav, just out of interest, have you thought about just leaving it as it is ??
Give it a clean, a service and splash out on a carcoon ??

I would do Jim, if it was a more desirable version.jimbom30cab wrote:Hey Rav, just out of interest, have you thought about just leaving it as it is ??

But I really don't see it ever being a car that , in a few years time if wrapped up, would be something on a wanted list.
I bought it because of the condition of the shell, and it being a non sunroof car.

Disagree Rav. something like this would be valuable as it is purely because in a few years time most of what will be left will be 325i's and 24v converted cars.Rav335uk wrote:I would do Jim, if it was a more desirable version.jimbom30cab wrote:Hey Rav, just out of interest, have you thought about just leaving it as it is ??

Look at other marques - it ain't just RS2000's that fetch stupid money
It has rarity value already and base spec completely untouched cars have a charm all of their own.
The last time one like this turned up was Dan's - that was what 6-7 years ago ?
If it's as mint as it looks I'd do whatever needs doing with regard to bushes and powder coated bits etc underneath but don't change the spec.
Bronzit does grow on you Mick - you usually got to own one though before you realise it

e30topless said : Proper BMW's have 4 headlights, last of the run was the E30 and E34/E32 anything after that is just complete shite
The mileage if correct takes it to the next level I think, that'll easily be worth £7-£10K in not many years time. A perfect companion piece for a collector to park next to his mint Sport Evo
As Barry has said lots of times on here, a car is only original once, that's where the value/ collector interest is. Plenty of molested cars out there, hardly any originals ones left like this though

I have to say seems a shame to change such an original car, it looks like a museum piece. Still, if you are going to build a car to spec you're not going to find a better starting point.
Has great Q car potential, engine swap, sort handling / brakes and leave everything else as is, poverty spec and 316 badge. I'd even keep the steelies.
