I had to Come here eventually to get a final solution , better than Facebook .

My Transmission is 260/5 green labeled Box .
and About three days ago i started Hearing alot of Whining at 2nd Gear , and A Minor Whine at 3rd Gear .
Today i changed the Oil , and I found some Metal Dust on the Magnetic Drain Plug .
I drained the Old Fluid and I used High Performance 75w90 Oil as recommended by Liqui Moly's Service .
Still , i hear a Whine on 2nd Shift .
My Question is :
If I used 75w140 would the whine Go away , or would that Oil Ruin my Box ?
As it's Thicker than the 75w90 . It Might make a difference .
I've read Somwhere that People that are having Whine Probs , use Redline Shock Proof Gear Oil , Which is a 75w140 Oil .
Also I Will Change the Diff Oil Too .
So 3 Liters would be more than enough to Fill both Diff and Box .
As almost 1.5 Liters for each .
My Friend is a BMW Authorized Mechanic , and He Said , it's Cool for a Box that Ran Over 200K KM's .
But Still with that Whine it will Take you Driving to Germany .
Them are Bulletproof .
So What Should I do ?
Specialists , Help me .
