Another Rich on your hands?

I've been using Motul 300V Competition and have no complaints, not sure what oil would be best though. I would drop it within 500 miles or so and replace with a new filter at the same time.

no surprise to see the zone critic on there ^^^ same old same old ...any opportunity .

re my OP and thread subject , it would appear that asking for various opinions on the original subject is too much to ask for nowadays on here, i.e brands , and mileage distance before 1st oil change .

after spending over a grand on an engine build i think my question was relevant .....

i don't think i'll bother to ask on the forum about how long my prop needs to be shortened to fit the 6-speed box .

i'll just pm ben he has an answer for everything

:D

Sign of the times for Zone :( There used to be a lot of knowledgeable and helpful members, but most have moved on - probably through boredom of the usual shite posted.
Those members that are still here are posting less often.

It's a shame, I was hoping to find out some useful info for when I rebuild mine.

Mick,

If you want technical advice you are supposed to post in the Technical Help section.

If you post in Chat you can expect a bit of banter. Don't let it upset you. Just accept that not everybody's sense of humour is the same.

There is some advice in the last post here: http://www.impactbumpers.com/forum/inde ... r-rebuild/ that looks quite good.

Other people will have different opinions about it.

I would use a cheapish oil to start with and change it to fully synthetic after 500 miles.
