If you thought the regular E30 M3 is getting expensive check out the M3 Evolution 2 prices. Its insane.

1988 Macau Blue BMW E30 M3 Evo II , # 309 of 500

Image

From the article:
This 1988 M3 Evo 2 (VIN WBSAK010702191751) is marked as chassis 309 of 500 on its dash plaque, and though a LHD car, was imported from the UK seven years ago. Said to be in excellent condition with 93k miles, paint was resprayed five years ago and wheels have been refinished with powder coating. The gray and plaid interior looks great, and though doors have been cut for tweeters and the rear deck for 6”a x 9”a speakers, the car appears well-cared for overall.

$100,000 = 67,000 pounds. Not the most expensive we've seen by some way.

These cars are not worth their inflated price tags! They are just being taken from the grasp of enthusiasts into the garages of investors and bankers because of the low interest rates! The same thing happened to all the air-cooled Porsches! So now you rarely see one on the road it is a real shame that great cars become collection pieces never to see the redline again! The true Bavarian soundtrack will be forgotten before long in favour of all the computerised crap they make now!!!!

Not yet! Had another kid which slowed things up (only for a few years mind!) but all being well should be back on the road soon. Famous last words.
