^^ This. I've not had any issues with Paisley. However, they have just increased their standard price to £15.99 which I think is now getting too steep. I was always willing to use them when £13.99, then to £14,99. But now? I'm looking elsewhere.
I know Mick uses P2G to good effect but I had nightmares with them I really did.

Hmm to be honest when it comes to using courier services it's all hit and miss. It's just down to pure luck, will deffo give Parcel2go a try.
They use reputable companies like Parcelforce, UPS and Yodel
Also what do I put down for weight and measurements?

I'd weigh & measure them.
What's the advantage in paying to transport two tyres around the country, against buying new from the likes of.....Mytyres, Oponeo, Blackcircles etc, who include free delivery?
The £20 you're talking about could be buying more rubber.

http://www.wheelcarrier.co.uk/ they are cheap and they use citylink couriers.
Paisley Freight seem to insist on tyres being 'suitably wrapped' which, when I phoned them, meant bubble wrap and cardboard boxes! Not quite sure what harm can come to tyres, but there we go..TriggerFish wrote:Paisley freight are quite cheap for shipping tyres too

^^^^ I have just bought 2 part worns off ebay s I needed to replace one that got punctured while Barry was using the car. Needed a matching tyre to the other three.
First one ordered fine. Turned up as JUST the tyre with NO wrapping bar one band of packing tape wrapped through the inner hole and around the walls / tread. Thought this strange. Then found that it had a knife cut about 4 inches long in the sidewall. Most probably happened in transit due to lack of protection.
So refund got, 2nd one ordered. Turned up all looked good. Till inflation time. Hissing from the side wall and it's punctured. This tyre was couriered for a different seller but again had ZERO packaging except the same single loop of packing tape!
I've now got to have that fucker removed again so it can be returned and refunded.
We have had to buy a brand new tyre due to no others of the same make as the other three and a customer waiting for the wheels.
Buying part worns off eBay is a mugs game and a lottery it seems!
