Hello guys
Few days ago a following issue appeared.
The turn stalk on the steering column stopped switching cycles of info on 13-button OBC. Has anyone experienced this? I googled this issue to no avail.
Could it be to some dead fuse related or has the contacts inside the switch on turn stalk gone bad (corrosion, etc)?
It used to work flawlessly in the past.

I figured it out.
I checked all the fuses which seem to be OK.
Then I decided to remove the plastic thingy from the turn indicator stalk. I turned and twisted it and then VOILA... it works again. I guess the contacts inside the switch are getting old. If issues persists, then I guess a replacement must be sought.

BMW bits don't normally 'wear'. This isn't a Ford or something French.
A squirt of proprietary switch cleaner onto the contacts, a bit of 'exercising' of the switch, followed half an hour later by a little bit of silicon grease, and the switch will be good for another twenty years.
