Seems like a nice, clean car based on the photos and the description.
The sunroof may be a pain in the ass to get sorted, but the blower motor doesn't sound too bad, as normally it's just the resistor, and the replacement is quite simple?
Also would be useful to wait for the photos the guy promised to upload "by Wednesday" to see the condition of all the usual rust spots.

Just had a look at this, looks a decent original car but it's already north of £4k with 2 days to run. It all depends on the rust, if it is minimal then it's going to be expensive but it's an unmolested Sport and that's what they're worth. Also bear in mind no head unit, sunroof, rust spots etc listed, it's going to need another £1k spent on it to make it spot on.
At that money I'd want to view it first and check the VIN against the online database to confirm original supply spec but it has a lot of potential, Sports are the holy grail of E30 ownership now M3s are out of most people's reach.

The scuttle , serious rust by the o/s/f strut and the obvious major damp issues in the boot tell me that this is a sad turd which will swallow MANY thousands before it resembles a good car.
In this case 'caveat emptor' = Buyer be VERY aware !

This car is about a 30 min drive from where I live. I'm sorry to say Buckley is not the most salubrious town, if you know what I mean.

Hadn't seen the other pictures at that point, I now take that back. Make that grand the deposit for the oncoming resto.polsta wrote:A grand to make it spot on.... Sports eat grands for breakfast without touching the sides
