Hi all,

I've just been drying out my E36 convertible and after refitting the front seats (electric heated) the airbag light has lit up. It was all fine prior to this, I disconnected the battery before removal and it wasn't reconnected until the seats were back in and connected up again, however I managed to forget to connect the small white plug to the little black box under the passengers seat before I started it up.

I'm guessing that this is something to do with the passengers airbag and as I've connected the battery and started the car with it disconnected its possibly the cause of the airbag light being on.

I've plugged the white connector into the box and checked the other connections and all looks ok but the light is still on. I guess I have to have this reset? Can anyone confirm?

Thanks.

Just reset it. BMW's are a pain for this - they always need a reset after a steering wheel swap as well.

Cheers.

Probably worth investing in some kind of code reading and reset tool. Any recommendations?
