Hi,

I've got a 1990 318i and the old factory exhaust has finally given way.
Well from the centre back any way.

I want to replace it with something more in stainless reigion but don't really want to change it to something chavy.
You know lots of bark but no bite.

Any suggestions on where I should be looking or what my options are?

Cheers,
rotta

jetex do one but only if you have a catalyser equipped car, failing that get one made by an exhaust specialist but make sure you have 2 good boxes not just one or it will sound like a chav mobile.

It's just the 318i,

I couldn't find anything from scorpion, just stuff for the 6 pot engines.

I'll try mongoose though,

If any one's interested,

easiest option was buying a stainless system from Powerflow exhausts.

Cost me £450 for a front pipe back, cat delete.

Wow! That sounds a lot, how many silencers is it coming with?

I bought a 318is powerflow 2 nd hand off here, heard a you tube vid of it before I bought it and it didn't seem too bad.

That was with one silencer in the middle plus the backbox.

1 Silencer + Back box,
It is brand new, and I'm just having the place build and fit it.

There are more IS options available but essentially nothing for the standard 1.8,
Which is why I posted on here, but it seemed I'd already got as far as everyone else
