What front calipers do people recomend? Currently im running corrado g60 drilled/grooved disks, custom made caliper spacers, and ferodo ds2500 pads with blue race fluid and braded hoses. Im lucking to upgrade the set up ive seen WMS 4 pot at £453 http://wms-brakes.ecrater.co.uk/p/13904 ... -brake-kit
And also willwood at £650, does anyone have recommendations for a brake upgrade maximum £700
Cheers graham

Id sway toward the WMS over the wilwood, for the simple fact you dont have to mess with the master cylinder. Your not going to get a massive increase in braking power as you already have the 280mm discs, I would recommend changing to solid/non drilled or grooved discs though, that will make a difference.
If you can get a bigger disc under your wheels with either kit then go for that
If you want big improvements you need to put at least a 1 in front of that £700 max spend, and thats just for the front

I haven't tested it on fast roads yet but im using a 312mm Audi disc on front with e34 540i Calipers, e32 735i double chambered servo and 25mm master cylinder
Pedal feel was good but haven't tested from speed yet as still doing some work to the car

Hmm i like the look of them 4 pot wms' but ive always wanted to keep everything bmw on my M30..
Would these in any way compare to 4pot calipers?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-e34-M5-fr ... 41902df6a8
they were good enough to stop a tank like an E34 so wouldnt they be good enough for an E30?
or isit 4 pot performance calipers all the way?
Thanx for the advice

Those calipers look like they were made for that car!DanThe wrote:Yes, very good performance from those calipers when matched with the correct size MC and 312mm front VAG discs, its what I have on mine
They also look the tits![]()
Did you need a modified caliper carrier or is the E34 carrier a straight fit?
Also do they fit under 15"s?
Cheers

Definitely one of my favourite mods to the car!
Needs an adaptor to fit the carrier yeah, will be having some more made up this month sometime, can you see how close the caliper is to the inside of the 16" Hartge?
Its not going to fit under 15's ever
