TAPPING, QUITE LOUD FROM MY 6 CYL, WHAT COULD IT BE??

HELP ME OUT HERE GUYS, CAN IT BE VALVES OR CAM SHAFT, WOULD APRECIATE THE ADVICE, HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCED THIS B4.

99% chance of it being caused by the rocker arm's. Check the clearence between them and the top of the valves.

i see u got m-tech 1 sideskirts on ur car, they original convertible 1's???

i tried fittin coupe 1's on mine but it aint happenin!

huntin 4 original convert 1's that aint a fortune!!!

Tappets 90% of the time will get noisey on the M20 engine, other than checking clearance, cam wear etc I don't think there's much you can do about it, without replacing the entire head. I've also heard that the injectors can get louder and that a damaged exhaust manifold gasket can add to it all.
Out of my three 325's only one is quiet

No need to replace the head as long as its in good order (non pourous etc)
the camshaft and rockers can be replaced in situ but not a job for the inexperienced i'm afraid.

Sorry when I said replace entire head, I did mean rockers, camshaft etc I should word things better
