The car will always be a 318iS, that's the model and can't be changed. All the dvla will change is the fuel type and engine cc so it will now be a 318iS with a 3.0 Diesel engine.

Modified insurance, might get a classic policy depends on how they look at it.

It been a while since updated the thread that's due to some time waster welder, once the car was booked in Droped it off was told that it will take 3-4 weeks so decided not to go with them, Thanks to "aze30" hopefully should have all the welding completed within the next 2 weeks.
