I have read the page on here which shows how to convert from LHD headlights to RHD - has anyone ever did this and does it work? I was looking to get new headlights for my E30 but can only see LHD ones on the internet. Thanks

The Wiki pages are written by Zone members, so if the Wiki shows it, then someone on here has done it.

European LH drive and RH drive dipped beam lens unit/bulb carriers have different part numbers, but both types are easily adjustable to the other beam pattern. Changed them over many times in ferry ports, while looking disdainfully at the owner's of other makes with their little bits of adhesive black plastic tape.
If the lights you are looking at are of an aftermarket make, then it's very likely they are not adjustable in the same way. In fact, the last aftermarket headlamps I became involved with were of such a poor design that I couldn't get an acceptable beam pattern, and ended up being removed again and binned.
