Hi I have the chance of a hartge manifold I am just wondering if they are for lhd only or could they be modified for

Also I have a chance at a dbilas intake that goes with 45 webers dose anybody know if there any good or would you put your money elsewhere

I had a Hartge exhaust, and I'd be very surprised if they fit a RHD. They were snug enough against the chassis rail already, without a UJ getting in the way.

As for the intake - why bother fitting carbs to your engine?

With the intake I was just seeing if anyone had done it and what they were like . I'm guessing there would be a way to butcher the manifold around the rail and UJ . Do you have any idea of what there worth the hartge manifold I mean

Hartge fannymoulds were available in LHD and RHD forms..

nobody has ever gained from a dbilas set up but they do look nice :D

I'll not go down the dbilas route then shame they don't help any as they look great. I'll have to try the manifold I guess the seller is unsure as he never fitted it

Agreed, the reasons why have been discussed on multiple threads on here and e30tech/r3v/bimmerforums.

The Dbilas ITB's just don't seem to work.

dbilas is junk, the design shows a lack of understanding of engine design

Cheers for the advice I'm going to leave the dibilas alone and I think the hartge manifolds have fallen though :( .
