I always thought they were only built for 10 months but that's the dates from the zone wiki.

No there a some E reg ones as some were registered after 1st aug 1987 which is when E reg came out.

No C reg ones.

Barry, I read in my e30 book, that in the early runs there were some Stirling silver tech1s , have you ever seen one?

IIRC there is at least one polaris silver one lurking. Sterling silver did not become available until 1990 I believe.

Indeed there is a polaris tech 1 that was owned many years ago by a zoner.

As Pete says, Sterling was a 1990 colour.

My touring is an 89G with sterling silver, does this mean it's worth six figures???
