just reading another thread on here about a diamond black 320i and i decided to pop mine on as well. we,ve had it about 2 years and it was a little tired when we got it. in fact it was us or the scrap yard due to a starting issue. A fresh battery soon sorted that so it was the idiot who sold it me for 400 quids loss and a lucky buy for me. next was off for an MOT, 2 tyres and a couple of bushes later and it was straight through. at this stage i had a look to see if the body work was a no go or if we'd lucked in. bit of mixed news, good sold car with no rot "except", quite bad rear drivers arch, bit rotten on one side of the valance and hole under the boot spare wheel well on the drivers side. given the overall strength of the car i decided to issue it to my beloved as her daily. too good to junk but not good enough to take up garage space. cam belt and water pump and service and away it went. weve had two years of relateivelt rouble free motoring, only about 7000 miles but its 130 quid for the insurance, 230 for road tax and although its a greedy little beggar and has a main seal incontinence problem, that is still cheap daily motoring. thanks to wax oil its got no worse around the scabby bits but as we get more attached to it i can see the bodywork and repaint looming......
Nice motor that is! Original and unmolested. Keep it and gradually sort out your rust issues. You won't regret it

were keeping this one. every family needs a money pit to keep them from wasting all their spare money on rubbish like holidays, furniture,groceries and bills.
Any updates on this?
