Hello, I'm fitting a Z3 rack on my e30

I have bought a Corsa C linkage. But I need to change the lower ball joint, with the one from the E30 to make it fit. But how do you remove these ball joints? I've been hitting it with q hammer but it won't move anything?

Yes I know. But there is no information on how you remove it. Just by punching it?

Do you mean the universal joint? No ball joint in that linkage.

If so then there should be some peened over bits in the yoke which hold the bearings in or maybe some circlips.

Remove these then push the bearings out with a vice and a couple of sockets.
