Hi there guys, I've recently brought a 318is, it needed an MOT so I've had that done and I've been told I need a rear shock absorber (so I'll get the two) just wondering where is the best place to get them from and what make etc.... The car is completely standard also....
Any help on where to go etc would be great
Thanks in advance :D

Depends on what you want to do with it.

A pair of Bilstein B4s will serve you well if you want to keep it standard(ish).

Good information on the wiki. Get familiar with it as it's an invaluable resource.

Whatever you fit, a large load spreading washer between the top part of the damper rod and the rear top mount is essential. This washer is part of the dust cover on an original damper, and in many cases the old dust cover can be fitted to the new damper.
