Very nice

I think the smooth bootlid would be a good idea too :thumb:

P.S You don't happen to have the 2nd pic in a bigger size by any chance, like 1024 x 768? I fancy that for my desktop background :D

look well nice mate, those rear tyres look proper stretched over the rim, bet they had fun getting those on! have you gone for 205s on the back mate? or are they 215s but just very wide alloys?

the design suits your car and colour but the stretched rear tyre makes the rears look a bit odd in my opinion. it looks like there's plenty of clearance room to put wider tyres on the rears too, i reliase cost might be an issue as 9inch wide tyres won't be the cheapest - especially if they're 16s. (or are they 15??)

i just noticed that now, i got 215 on 9j all over, but to be honest they dont stretch as much as those, i think those must be 205, correct me if im wrong.

stretched tyres on wide ass rims loook sweet, euro.

adam how the handling now? more skittish at the back? what size spacers you running?

again your cars sweeet.

And some mesh as well. I havent driven her for a while now, cause i'm always zingging round in my Polo or out posing in the Rieger. I will have to get her started when the weather starts to get a bit nicer and use her more cause there's no point in spending all that money doing her up and leaving her to stand there doing nothing.

Johnono - I'm with you dude. Nice wheels, but I'm not too keen on them on Adam's car for some reason... dunno what it is.

I agree with the smooth bootlid idea though... it's what I've wanted to do for ages.

Giles.

The tyres are 205's stretched on guys, it's the tyres that came with the wheels and yes they're 16".

As for handling, I haven't got a clue, as you can probably see, there's no exhaust. The car is currently without a fuel tank so is off the road. Hopefully back up and running very soon though, it's too cold to fit a new fuel tank now!

I just picked up a spare bootlid from my local scrappy in the same colour with the small SE spoiler so I'll get the holes filled and sprayed so I have a choice of 2 spoilers. I think euro style is the way to go.

They don't look quite right because the car hasn't settled, that pic is only just after I fitted them, it needs a good drive to settle properly. Also I'll probably get some 215's on the back to fill out the spaces a little more.

Booty, where did you get the gold bolts, I've been wanting to get some gold bolts for them, any ideas how much they are too?

Another one here that don't think they look quite right, they looked good on the touring they came off though.
Are you going to try them on the touring? Would look good with the drop you did have!

As I said above, they look odd because it's not dropped enough yet, the car still needs settling and I need wider tyres on the back.

I'll take some more pics another day when they look right, I literally stuck them on as soon as I got them and took some pics.
