This car rules. The reason it has so much torque is because its got my old m42 loom cover

No one ever can! I never sold my Sport but had it tucked up and took some time away. Within a month of logging back on to the Zone I'd bought a touring lol
What's your plans for this one?

I did buy a red 325 from a zoner called alex but he had my pants down on that one, it was a proper turd. I flogged it at a great loss and said thats it no more e30s but then I saw this one ( the sport i've now got) for sale local about a year ago and couldn't resist.
Not sure about an engine conversion yet, just going to get the m3 running gear on and enjoy it, saying that i've been keeping an eye out for an engine. I'd really like to do the m60 but 4ltr ones with manual gearbox seem rare.
I know the s50 conversion and learnt a lot from the last one. Also i now have a barn and garage to work in so no more messing around outside in the cold like when I did the last one.
Not many original zoners about nowadays it seems. Nice to be back, and you've still got that penguin (sp?) avatar LOL

Mmmm, V8
I know what you mean, I used my Sport (back with its M20) for a couple months last summer just to enjoy it for a bit. It's off the road again with the M20 back in the shed lol
I've got an M52 2.8 crank ready for an M20 stroker build, but I keep looking at S50 and S54s
A V8 would be nice but as you say, it's trying to find a manual box. I have to admit, if I was going V8 it would be a Chevy LS1 as it's something I've always wanted to do.
I keep meaning to change those damn penguins lol, but they've done 10yrs so a bit longer won't hurt
