Hello

Trying to remove my wishbones from the subframe and the nuts from both sides have loosened some but the bolts inside have begun to spin. I've had a try with some grips on the rubber boot on the underside but with no effect.

Any techniques? Would like to get them done tonight.

Jack under the ball joint, to push it hard back into the taper, then tighten the nut back up again. Clean the exposed threads above the nut with a wire brush and plenty of WD40 or similar.
Keep the jack in place and carefully undo the nut again. As soon as it begins to go stiff, add more WD40 and alternately undo the nut a quarter turn and tighten it an eighth of a turn, washing the newly exposed threads clean with more WD40.

if you are struggling with the wishbone balljoint on the strut, be careful and take your time with the advice given above... the threads are fine and can easily get stripped..

Replacing everything so no worry about damage to old wishbone.

Top notch advice though Brian. Worked first time both sides.
