Hi guys
Im new here,
Recenlty bought an 1988 325i 2 door to restore, be it on a budget!
Have managed to get most of the mechanical bits done
Now realised sunroof is messed.
Turned the handle and it tilted down a few mil and then stopped.
Now i can turn the handle freely, but nothing moves.
Mechanic doesnt really want to, nor has the time to do it.
Any advice or pointers to local experienced mechanics regarding sunroof?
Im in the midlands, Worcester to be specific.
Thanks

Sunroof was probably just stuck. Now it's broken.
You should have 'assisted' the roof with one hand, and applied gentle pressure to the handle with the other.
The broken part is probably just the handle assembly, and easily replaced, or you could take the opportunity to go electric.
The whole sunroof is fairly easy DIY stuff, so get stuck in. There's plenty written on here already, and if you need more info., then ask.
