My rear fog light works fine, but my front I have to hold down the button for them to work and as soon as I release the button they turn off, anyone know what this could be?

Sam just remove the under dash panel.. few screws, and then you can put your hand behind where the fog light switch is, and push it through towards you and out.Sambe30 wrote:how do you remove the switch?

Not impossible but they normally just need a minor strip down and clean.diable wrote:Faulty switch.
To the OP - run a search on here. Brian has explained it many times previously.

I have, in an old Cadburys Roses tin in the garage, around 60 E30 double foglight switches! I've whipped them out of every scrapper I've found over the last 10-15 years.
That's about £600 worth

Has it ever worked properly? If not, do you have a touring rear wash/wipe switch fitted by mistake?
