Value of E87 advice needed

I'm looking to buy a 118d off a mate with 120k miles.
The issue with the car is that the flywheel and clutch are shagged, I'm looking to buy this car how much should I be paying?

Age? Spec? Condition of the rest of it?

2006, Sport (not m sport), the overal condition of the car is good just a few parking dings. It deffo needs a good clean and service. Also when the clutch is depressed it sounds like a f00king helicopter

£2500-3k with clutch fixed I would have said?

Thanks BSS, what would you say the value of the car would be prior to having the clutch and DMF replaced?

Well it's about a £1200 job to fix at a Bmw dealer so knock that off the sale price?
