idling hunting problem

hi I've recently completed my m52 conversion, everything is fine drives perfect starts first time but when its revved it takes ages to settle, and when driving and coming to a stop sometimes it cuts out!!?? i have checked all plugs vacuum hoses and everythink seems to be ok. anyone got any ideas?

Check and clean the ICV (idle control valve).

Hi Jon, sounds like the ECU could be missing a signal, pm me some details, cant remember if you had an ECU from me or not
