Hey everyone.
I was wondering if anyone had a picture of the cam seals/ O rings on an 885 cam. I bought the head stripped, just never done an overhead cam job.
Thanks

I assume you mean an 885 head off a 325i?
Both the O ring and shaft seal are on the cam retainer. This goes on the pully end of the head.
The cam goes straight into the head, well lubed, then the retainer pushed in, and secured with two 10mm bolts.
The retainer is "eye" shaped the corners having the holes for the 10mm bolts to go through.
Hope that helps.

Thanks!
I eventually found an exploded parts view and found a couple things missing with your response. All built, now just waiting on the head gasket and studs and she can purr again.
Cheers

Make sure one of the missing bits isn't the rocker shaft locating plate which fits at the front of the head. Without this bit in place the shaft will turn, and cut off the oil suply to the whole top end.
