My pixels have gone daft !!

Hi,
Is there a way to restore the display on my digital clock as some of the pixels have gone very random on the right side .

Is this the E30 OBC we're talking about, or the 6-button clock version?

You may need to open it up and try using isopropyl alcohol to clean any tarnish off the display connecting strips.

If the LCD is bleeding, you'll need a new display or complete new unit.

I doubt it's an e30 considering it's in the e36 forum??

Martin, is it the multi button high end module like this one?

Its the e36 compact clock . It really is bog standard as only having the display and two buttons for the hours and minutes but I miss the bloody thing.
It went in the freezer last night but it`s still the same.

I thought I heard about this but then again....................
