I read the Wiki about soldering the brake pad resistor joints to cure the flickering warning light, but what if you just take out the bulb from the back of the cluster?

Any negative consequences apart from not knowing when your brake pads are worn lol

That doesn't sound good :D

Soldering is not my thing, so I thought of other options...

Soldering iron should be part of everybody's tool kit. Antex XS25 is a good all rounder.
Easy enough skill to master at the level required for E30 circuitry - no 200 pin surface mount ICs in them.

The sensors were changed, when I put new brake pads - all connected well and no damaged wiring.

I got the point about soldering, but I doubt it's happening any time soon...

So if I remove the bulb, then the light won't come up without causing any other issues?

If the wiring from the sensors isn't dressed properly, it can rub through on the inside of the wheel well.
Not immediately obvious that's it's going to happen while the wheel is still off.

Removing the bulb will not cause any problems.
