Go on then, ask him nicely. We don't have much contact now that he's a mod!

Decided I'm gonna man up and do a bit of work on my motor Christmas week. Got so many parts to fit, and a lot I haven't been able to do without a jack and stands.. so I'm gonna buy a set tomorrow.
I need to fit a new fuel filter, go over my rear suspension, replace front ARB bushes and drop links, fluid and filter change on my auto gear box, and probably a few other things.
I'd rather you wished me luck on this lot, than a happy new year tbh

What is the going rate for them kits? I've never really looked into RS modz because there were a 'few' things to get sorted before I looked at the shiny shiny.

I need to reduce the piles of 15" BBS in my garage and get the best set sorted with tyres and put on the car then get the others sold.
Then it does need a good clean and those little rusty bits finally looking at.

Now that the back end of my cabby has been completely overhauled, all new rubber, new brake/fuel lines, drop links, rebuilt diff (thanks Gareth) im moving on to the front .
Plan is to take the wings and valance off, dash and interior out etc and have a good hunt for rust and then fully overhaul the front suspension and brakes.
I have lock up with power but if its to cold i will overhaul the front callipers and rebuilt with the new kit that arrived today from Bigred.

I'd say a bag is reasonable when you consider it's close to £500 for four new outer lips.

Gonna pick up rebuilt lsd diff, refurbed tranny, refurbed driveshaft, re-bushed rear-suspension and re-bearinged rear axle. Also gonna refit a completely new fuel system including all lines and tank.. Gonna reassemble the rear suspension and start bodywork for a complete respray...
Might do a bunch more too...

Yea but a grand is still a fair wack. Going to squirrel them away and worry about it some other time.

i've a feeling you could be hating on electric roofs more than body work ,
i hope it's an easy fix as i've read that syncing the motors is almost suicidal

Let us know what's wrong with the roof Willnz.
To be totally honest, I don't think I finished any of the jobs I set myself last Christmas!!
Merry Christmas everyone.
