Hardtops

The one in question is a Weismann one, and as usual before i (potentially) buy something i tend to do a little research.

And what keeps cropping up is "hardtop preparation kit"

What is this?! and is this kit fitted to the hardtop or the vehicle. And i've read that all UK vehicles are hardtop prepared?!

Wondered if anybody could help

Just behind the flaps on each side of the car that open to allow the roof mechanism to open you should find a rectangular rubber plug. Pull the plug out and there should be a socket for the hardtop pins to fit into.

All UK cars have the socket. You need to make sure that the hardtop comes with the pins.
