I know Matt (Meatballs82) won't thank me for posting this as he was absolutely gutted to see it go, but after a 16hr round trip from Scotland picked up this wee beauty yesterday, Neva missed a beat whole drive up road 8)

Matt pumped a lot of money into it so being honest don't think I'm gonna want to do too much it it!!
Only plans are to get the Alpina Alloys refurbished there's a mark on drivers side rear quarter panel that needs tidied up & front lower valance redone :)

I would lose/sell the alpinas,.. and the black kidney grill... are the wheels genuine? Get some 15' bbs'.. and spend the surplus on a Christmas treat for the car, a good service!

A good buy that, Matt spent many a weekend not to mentioned the smuggled ECP parts (lol) to build this one up, there is a thread on here where all the welding etc takes place. Look after it and locked away from the Scottish climate.

Yes, Matt's build thread is well worth a read. He did a great job of restoring this sport.

It's actually been for sale for a few months and a good buy IMO.

Looking forward to seeing more of the car on here

I knew she wouldn't let you down Stevie!

Hats off to you for an epic 900 mile round trip too.

Still can't believe I sold it but the house move will be a little easier now.

You'll be glad to know the bank accepted your dodgy scottish notes too :D

Looks like the nearside headlamp wiper motor may need some attention too...

Hi Dan,

The engine mounts were the Burton MK2 escort ones you recommended?

Yep, I seem to remember you saying they had softened up? Might have been somebody else though
