Hi everyone,

I have an (australian) '88 318i with the M40 lump and also Air-conditioning.

Would this come with a single-mass or dual (twin) mass flywheel?

Realoem is confusing me lol.

I'm looking to do an M42 conversion and was gonna re-use the original M40 flywheel.

Thanks! :)

Is it?
Not sure about Australian, but in my M40 the flywheel is single mass

Single mass flywheel on these, and a decently heavy one.

RealOEM says 'twin mass' but that basically means it's a single piece flywheel with the extra ring of metal around the outer rim.
