thats the lowest number of relays and fuses ever fitted to a fuse box!!! fewer optional extras = less weight = more speed. :?

Thanks mate much appreciated indeed. Uou know how much a purist I am so 100% standard is the only way - so much so ive ordered from BMW a new set of wheeltrims as the original ones have a few marks on them :-) The cars not trying to be anything other than what it is so wheeltrims it shall stay :-) Hope you are well.

Kind Regards

Russell.

Haha cheers mate, have to agree - the car nips along remarkably well and is silky smooth - the gearchanges are absolutely like silk :-)

I had an identical car to this, F966STR although it was an M40 auto not an M10. It looked identical to yours but as an 89 moddl it had standard PAS, front EW and CL. Very pleasant it was too.

Superb Andy, sounded a lovely car! Cant be many base models left now with less than no spec! Theres a certain light airy feel to the base autos they just seem to effortlessly glide along. If you have any pics of the old gal when you had it id love to see them!

Thanks Alex much appreciated :-) I can remember a time when you saw dozens of e30s daily here, sadly no longer - although I did see a silver touring last night in Edinburgh :-)

It is a facelift. There are a few facelift 316's on E & F plates that were built before the M40 powered 316i came in.
